Drake, So sorry for the loss of your father. My prayers and condolences to you and the girls during this time in your life. As difficult as it is to see our loved ones leave us, rest assured that it is only for a little while. We will see them again on the other side. Love and prayers to you and family praying that God gives you strength and comfort as you travel this road of sorrow. Be blessed and be strong but mostly lean on our Heavenly Father.
Prayerfully
Loretta Brown Kennard

I will miss you Carl. It was always a special pleasure to see him and talk to him at Grand Session. Rest in Peace with OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.
I am so sorry for your loss. Carl was a gentle giant in his own way. He will truly be missed for his wonderful smile and that ponytail.
To the entire extended Grigsby family, I extend to you my condolences and my prayers in this time of transition of your love one, Carl Grigsby. As I think of him, I recall a kind, gentle and dignified man. He was a wonderful person. My mother, Margaret Hutchinson, grew up with him in Quindaro. To this day she remembers him with fondness. When she speaks of "Carl" it is always in a tone and a way that I can tell he has a dear place in her heart. I know this is difficult to handle. Remember when sorrow is about to overtake you that you have a God to turn to that can help you through whatever you are facing. May God bless you and keep you.
What a great guy. He was my travel partner on a trip to England. I really enjoyed our time. He will be greatly missed. Anna
Another link has been severed from the Prince Hall Masons of Kansas, to which Past Master Grigsby was a member for over 50 years. May he rest in eternal peace and his family find comfort.

"Mr. Grigsby" as all of us Elsheimer children knew him, will be greatly missed by many; ie: His kindness, knowledge, business ventures, postal services, thoughtfulness, community services, man of God, faithfulness, "Father" to many, comedy, neighborly, watchful eye in the neighborhood, I could go on with descriptions of Mr. G. Drake, you take care! Mr. G., may the good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again.
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Grigsby’s passing. He was a great man. My father thought a lot of him and so did I. He was such a kind, honest soul, with a smile for everyone. May your memories bring you comfort.
Drake....So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I'll always have fond memories of him in my heart. He was a gentle giant.
It is with a heavy heart that I write these words...but also an encouragement. I am just learning of the passing of one of the most faithful church members I had the pleasure of Pastoring. Bro Grigsby was a mighty man of God and a true pillar of the community who will be missed. This good and faithful servant earned his rest and deserves his reward. Rest well Brother! My prayers to the family!
Dearest Drake and Family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences in the passing of Mr. Grigsby. I attempted to reach you when I first learned that Carl had passed, but was unable to. I pray that you and daughters and grandchildren are doing well at this time. Remain strong in the Lord and remember the teachings from Bethel. May you all be encouraged and know that you're not forgotten. I remember when your school teacher Mom and Carl moved to Coffeyville. Then you were born. I've known your family for many years.
Carl was a very kind soul. He was kind to everyone. I remember him from the carwash and casino. Rip
