Eathel Mae Johnson, 91 passed July 5, 2016 at Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Dewey, OK.
Eathel Mae Johnson was born in Wilson, Arkansas on June 1, 1925 to John Archie McDougal and Carrie Lee Thompson. Mamma loved her children very much and devoted her life to being a homemaker. She went over and above to make sure the home was "Taken care of" and she would go out of her way to make sure that others were taken care of even if she had to go without.
Mother loved fishing for perch and spending time with family; telling stories of the old days and giving advice, "Mother Wit" was her greatest gift. We all benefit from her wisdom. Forever!
Eathel Mae was preceded in death by her husband, parents, One brother, One sister, and 9 children. She leaves to cherish her memories: Sister Drunnetter Johnson: Daughters: Mary Wilburn, Lula Carpenter of Chicago, IL; and Dorothy Johnson of Bartlesville, OK; Sons: Harry Johnson of East St. Louis, IL; Eddie L. Johnson of East St. Louis, IL; Clifton Johnson (Michelle) of Coffeyville, KS. and a host of grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
