Gilbert or what I called him - "Gilly Gil" was a great guy. I remember I would see him walking up to the office and when I saw him coming I knew I would have to stop and talk for at least 5 to 10 minutes. That's just how he was he enjoyed talking to people especially his buddies. I was a buddy to Gilbert and we would have a good laugh almost every time we would see each other. Not only was he funny he was a caring guy that would always ask me how I was doing and how was my family for that I truly saw the kind of genuine person that he was. I will miss my buddy Gilly Gil but I know he is in a better place now and will not have to worry about pain or sickness anymore. See you again one day my friend until then I will keep your memories alive in my heart and soul. RIP Gilbert

Gilbert was a kind and friendly neighbor to us for the past 7 years. His presence on our street will be missed. May he rest in the healing hands of Jesus and may his family find peace.

Gilbert and I worked together at AT&T. He and I would make sales calls together and laugh at each others jokes. Gilbert was a very happy person regardless of the circumstance and always had a positive thing to say about everyone. Heaven right now is a better place because Gilbert is there.

Gilbert is as you all say good and kind, loved to chat. He gave me Jera my first born. She passed on a few years before him. I can only imagine she grabbed him and welcomed him to heaven along with others in his family. He never forgot her or did dirty deeds to me or Jera. He is a gentle giant and I pray for peace for him and his beautiful family ♥️
