Virginia Ann Blandford, "Ginny" was born Virginia Ann Herndon, on January 15, 1949 to Leola Edmond and Delbert Herndon, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kimanthi and Kamaria Blandford; granddaughter Nilaja Moore and great granddaughter Kyrie.
Ginny had an adventurous spirit. Whether she was sky diving or climbing the Patagonian Mountains. She enjoyed learning about other cultures. Ginny was also not shy about her love for horses, reading, westerns and family.
She is also survived by 2 sisters Margaret Grimmett and Susan Edmond, 2 brothers Ronnie Herndon and Eric Edmond and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, friends and family.
Ginny passed on December 2, 2015 at Windsor Place Nursing Home.
